I listened to Bob Bradley’s news conference with reporters this morning (the actual event was held
yesterday afternoon) and have some thoughts regarding what the US National Team Coach said during
the press event.First off having listened to about a dozen of the same types of events when Bruce
Arena was the coach, I think Bradley has a deeper understanding and knowledge of the players in his
player pool, particularly the ones playing in Europe.

Along with everything else, Yer Correspondent has been lax in keeping up on A Pretty Move, our
wonderfully written and zealously impassioned cousin in Portland soccer blogdom. Along with Eleven
Devils, APM went half-way dark earlier this spring, but their end-of-season coverage is a
must-read.

New York loves Juan Pablo Angel.
Angel was key to all three goals and was the constant thorn in the Fire’s defense. Heck, he is so
well licked, Clint Mathis is even willing to take a supporting role as he dropped back into the
midfield to start some plays and give New York’s defense some extra support.
Which brings me to the one weak part for the Bulls on the night, their defense.

is, I missed the TNS game a week ago, and with two ESPN related items on the Freezer didn’t feel it
